What counts as an "active SKU"?
Any product currently listed for sale in your catalogue. Variants of the same product (size, colour) count once.
Do I need a barcode for every SKU?
No. We match on brand, model, category and title similarity. Barcodes help confirm, but they're never required.
Can I scan first, decide on monitoring later?
Yes, the one-time scan stands on its own. Most teams turn monitoring on once they see the first batch.
What if my catalogue grows?
Your price grows smoothly with the extra SKUs. Crossing a volume band only changes the rate for additional SKUs, not the whole catalogue.
Which regulations does this help with?
EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), in force since December 2024. Safety Gate is the official EU alert system the regulation points to; the audit and compliance plans align with Article 9 obligations on traceability and corrective action.

Public pricing is shown up to 5,000 active SKUs. Larger catalogues usually need custom scope, workflow, and review arrangements — and a contract that reflects them.
